Wooo. It is Spring Break. This means I can focus on getting back in shape, lifting weights, and working on my goals. I have to work throughout the two weeks, but that won’t get in the way of me bettering myself. Tomorrow I am going to post my fitness goals for spring break :) Time to get back on track!
HEY YOU!. yeah you. I bet some of you who are reading this slipped up today. maybe you just couldn't resist the temptation of that cookie or those chips. You might have even gotten lazy and not worked out today. You feel like a failure but let me tell you something. You aren't one. You are capable of succeeding. so you had a bad day, but tomorrow you will be stronger and you wont want to feel the way you do now. You will exchange those fries for fruit and you will go for a run. Seventeen:You've said girls should embrace their curves. Why did you think it important to make that statement?
Jennifer Lawrence:When I was playing Mystique in X-Men, I remember thinking, If I'm going to be naked in paint in front of the entire world, I'm going to look like a woman. I'm going to have curves and have boobs and have a butt. Because girls are going to look at that, and if I look like a scarecrow, they are going to think, Oh, that's normal. It's not normal. I'm just so sick of these young girls with diets. I remember when I was 13 and it was cool to pretend to have an eating disorder because there were rumors that Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie were anorexic. I thought it was crazy. I went home and told my mom, "Nobody's eating bread--I just had to finish everyone's burgers". I think it's really important for girls to have people to look up to and feel good about themselves.
hey! so i track my calories using myfitnesspal. my daily amount of sugar it recommends is 33 g and so far i've already had 57 =/ but most of it actually came from fruits. (banana - 17g, frozen fruit - 6g,) then 10 g from a clif bar. is it bad that i've went over my limit or does fruit lessen the effect since its natural sugars?
Too much sugar really isn’t good for you, but it is good that you got it from natural sugars! I would maybe limit the amount of fruit you eat next time and just have some once a day for dessert or a snack :) Or eat it with some lettuce or celery to off set the insulin production in your body :)
I have a question for you guys. I am so sick of having weak arms! I embarrased myself at work today because I couldn’t carry something. Though I don’t think anyone saw! Haha. Anyway I was wondering what are some of your at home arm exercises?

Day 15: How do you envision yourself when you think of ‘pure confidence’?
My clothes fit me perfectly and I have an aurora of confidence when I walk into the room. I can talk to anyone and not worry about ‘oh what if they are looking at this or that’ and I feel absolutely no jealousy when I see any girl. I have positive thoughts and focus on myself (not in a selfish way though if that makes sense). The thoughts and opinions of others don’t matter. I bring happiness to the room.
I really need to catch up on these! Haha my bad :)
Day 11- How have you managed so far with motivating yourself to stick to your healthy diet and exercise?
So far it has been a bit difficult. I have been working late and I still haven’t found a way to fit in going to the gym in my schedule. I will do exercises in my room, but I feel it is not enough. I plan on making a schedule later today. Eating healthy has been really good though!! I gave up sugar for lent so that is definitely helping and I have been eating very healthy :)
Day 12- How do you cope with friends and family judging your new healthy lifestyle?
My friends don’t really mind it. They always say I’m really healthy but in an admirable way. My family doesn’t judge at all! We are all really healthy. I’m really lucky to have a mom, dad, and sister that are into eating healthy too :)
Day 13- What are you looking forward to being the most comfortable in once you are sure of yourself and your body?
